You decide its best to wait a while.  There’s food in the cellar and other supplies so your able to stay there for a whole day.  There’s hardly any light to adjust your eyes to but you manage to get by with touch and can find your way around pretty well.  Of course, its easier for Mimi because she’s only three foot six; you have to duck in the four foot high space.
After twenty-four hours have passed you are impatient to see the sun again and decide to go up and have a look around.  You leave Mimi in the cellar, just in case, and lift up the trap door.  After peeking out the hut (or what’s left of it), and having a better look around, you decide that its safe.  You go get Mimi and then wonder if you should try to fix your hut or go look for the other people in your tribe.
